Before committing to hotels on all three islands, check which places your ferry tickets actually connect. In the Boonsiri searches below, starting at a Koh Chang hotel-transfer zone is a different selection from starting at Bang Bao pier. On Koh Kood, arriving at Ao Salad pier is a different selection from choosing a hotel-transfer destination.
This is a worked example using one operator, Boonsiri, and two separate travel dates: 20 and 23 October 2026. It is useful if you are deciding whether a particular hotel fits the transport you can arrange. It does not recommend three islands for every holiday or compare all ferry companies.
Booking-screen snapshot checked on 9 October 2026 at 00:37 ICT (8 October at 17:37 UTC). The amounts below were displayed for one adult on the stated travel dates; clock times are reproduced from the booking display. They are not a final checkout total, a reserved seat or a guarantee that a service will operate. Re-run the searches for your own dates and confirm the selected hotel's arrangements before making non-refundable commitments.
Currency note: THB here follows Boonsiri's stated Thai-baht payment currency. The result rows themselves did not show a currency label.
Follow the two separate travel days
The example reaches Ao Nid pier on Koh Mak on 20 October and leaves that same named pier on 23 October. The dates keep the two island crossings separate; the stay between them is an illustration, not a recommended number of nights.

Write down the pier names as well as the islands. For these searches the useful names are Bang Bao on Koh Chang, Ao Nid on Koh Mak and Ao Salad on Koh Kood. Then resolve the road journey at each end of each crossing.
20 October 2026 from Koh Chang to Koh Mak
Starting at Bang Bao pier
The Bang Bao to Ao Nid search displayed:
- 09:00 to 10:00 or 13:00 to 14:00
- 550 THB per adult
- Origin: Koh Chang, Bang Bao pier
- Destination: Koh Mak, Ao Nid pier
This option names the pier as its starting point. Before relying on it, arrange how you will reach the correct check-in point from your Koh Chang accommodation. The displayed departure time does not tell you when to leave your hotel or when check-in closes.
Selecting the Koh Chang hotel-transfer origin
The hotel-transfer-zone to Ao Nid search used the origin label Koh Chang (Hotel transfer White sand beach – Bang Bao). It displayed:
- 08:00 to 10:00 or 12:00 to 14:00
- 600 THB per adult
- Destination: Koh Mak, Ao Nid pier
- Shuttle and catamaran symbols
The named zone gives you something specific to check against your accommodation. Have Boonsiri confirm your exact property and meeting place. Do not treat 08:00 or 12:00 as a verified pickup time at your hotel's door; obtain the pickup instructions for that booking.
The difference between these two displayed adult amounts is 50 THB. That is a comparison of these dated offers, not a universal shuttle tariff or proof that every hotel in the named zone is served.
Make the Koh Mak hotel journeys explicit
Both Koh Chang options above finish at Ao Nid pier. The next search starts there three days later. Neither of those endpoint labels settles the journeys between Ao Nid and your Koh Mak hotel.
Before fixing the hotel, ask how you will be collected at Ao Nid on 20 October and how you will return there for check-in on 23 October. Confirm who arranges each journey, the meeting point and any charge. If the hotel cannot provide it, resolve an alternative before depending on the booking. Do not assume the arrival arrangement automatically includes the return trip.
Do not turn matching clock times into a connection. A search arriving at 10:00 and another leaving at 10:00 would not, by themselves, establish a workable same-day transfer or that passengers stay on the same boat. This example uses separate dates.
23 October 2026 from Koh Mak to Koh Kood
Finishing at Ao Salad pier
The Ao Nid to Ao Salad search displayed:
- 10:00 to 10:30 or 14:00 to 14:30
- 400 THB per adult
- Origin: Koh Mak, Ao Nid pier
- Destination: Koh Kood, Ao Salad pier
Use this endpoint if you intend to finish the purchased journey at the pier and have separately confirmed how to reach your Koh Kood accommodation. Check the selected ticket's inclusions rather than assuming an onward ride is free.
Selecting the Koh Kood hotel-transfer destination
The Ao Nid to Koh Kood Hotel Transfer search displayed:
- 10:00 to 11:00 or 14:00 to 15:00
- 450 THB per adult
- Origin: Koh Mak, Ao Nid pier
- Destination: Koh Kood, Hotel Transfer
- Catamaran and shuttle symbols
Here the hotel-transfer label is on the destination side. It does not establish pickup from a Koh Mak hotel. Ask whether your specific Koh Kood hotel is accepted and where you will be dropped off. No individual hotel was entered or confirmed for this research.
The displayed arrival labels differ from those for Ao Salad. Do not interpret 11:00 or 15:00 as a guaranteed arrival at any particular hotel, or turn the extra displayed half-hour into a fixed driving time. Again, the 50 THB difference belongs to these two offers, not a general island transfer price.
Match the hotels to the confirmed endpoints
Shortlist accommodation first, then resolve the transport details before committing to both:
- Search both crossings for your actual travel dates, with the full origin and destination labels.
- For Koh Chang, choose between reaching Bang Bao yourself and requesting confirmation of the named hotel-transfer option.
- For Koh Mak, settle both Ao Nid hotel journeys. For Koh Kood, settle either onward travel from Ao Salad or acceptance of your hotel-transfer destination.
- Recheck the offers, seat availability and accommodation availability together. Read the selected booking's final total and conditions before paying.
If an essential hotel journey remains unresolved, choose accommodation with a confirmed arrangement or revise the route before making a non-refundable booking. A ferry search result alone cannot settle that gap.

For the wider ticket checks, including luggage, practical assistance and seller conditions, use the bus-and-ferry booking guide. For disrupted crossings, use the island rough-weather backup guide. Recheck the operator's departure instructions and operating status close to travel; these example listings do not establish safe sailing conditions.
Source note: The Boonsiri timetable page had an older January–May 2026 heading while its linked timetable image showed 1 October 2026–31 May 2027. The examples above come from searches for the two specific dates, not an assumption that every service runs throughout that period. If a saved search no longer returns the same offer, start a fresh search on the operator's site.
