BACC in October 2026: choose a People’s Gallery exhibition

Information checked on 8 October 2026, Bangkok time. This is a dated October selection, based on official listings rather than a visit by the writer. Both selected exhibitions are scheduled to end on 1 November 2026. Recheck their pages before travelling.

If you have already chosen Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), two October shows offer different starting points on the second floor: journeys and place-shaped identity in P1, or changing states and perception in P2. This is not a complete list of everything at BACC.

Conceptual choice diagram: Woven Echoes in P1 explores journeys, memory and places; In Flux in P2 explores change and perception.
Original editorial diagram based on the official exhibition descriptions. Both shows are listed for People’s Gallery, second floor, from 6 October to 1 November 2026; recheck before visiting.

Journeys, memory and how places shape identity “Woven Echoes”: From Roots to Routes — Bowie Lee People's Gallery P1, second floor 6 October–1 November 2026
Change, transitions and experiences taking different forms In Flux — Sisana Chotechiwatorn People's Gallery P2, second floor 6 October–1 November 2026

The choices below draw on the organisers' descriptions. They are suggestions based on subject matter, not a ranking or a firsthand account of the works.

Woven Echoes in P1

The official description of Woven Echoes connects journeys with the memories and human relationships gathered along the way. It also invites reflection on travel before and after the pandemic and on the places that help shape identity.

Choose P1 first if you are interested in how a person's relationship with places develops through travel. That focus on journeys, places and memory gives you a specific reason to select this show.

In Flux in P2

The official description of In Flux focuses on moments of change. Some shifts take physical form; others register through feelings and perception. It describes the works as traces of experience and transformation, shaped by intention and by what arises during the creative process.

Choose P2 first if you are curious about change, perception and the creative process.

If both subjects appeal, choose your first room by interest and leave the other optional. If neither does, look through BACC's current programme for another exhibition.

Check the dates and rooms

BACC's visit information lists Tuesday–Sunday opening, 10:00–20:00. The remaining October Mondays are 12, 19 and 26 October: the exhibition date range does not mean daily opening. Sunday 1 November is the listed final day for both shows. Check current notices for exceptions; closing time does not establish last admission to these rooms.

General exhibition entry is free except for special events. The two show pages do not list a separate price or booking instruction in the text checked. This is not a live capacity check or a reservation; check any associated activity's own conditions.

From the BTS National Stadium connection at BACC's third-floor entrance, follow current signs to P1 or P2 on the second floor. If you need step-free access, confirm the approach and lift operation for your date. For broader arrival and visitor planning, see our Museum Siam or BACC guide.

The English web descriptions do not confirm English wall labels, tours or staff language availability. Ask about the specific exhibition if language support matters to your choice.

Venue comparison: Woven Echoes in P1 and In Flux in P2 are at downtown BACC; FRAGMENTS REBORN is at Seacon Square Srinakarin.
Conceptual venue guide, not a map or floorplan. The off-site FRAGMENTS REBORN listing at Seacon Square needs a separate visit plan from downtown BACC’s P1 and P2 rooms.

Keep Seacon Square separate

FRAGMENTS REBORN also appears in BACC's programme, but its event location is BACC pop·up, Gallery G1, third floor, MMAD, MunMun Srinakarin at Seacon Square Srinakarin. It is not another room in the downtown BACC building.

Keep it out of the P1/P2 sequence. Its specific event location takes precedence over the downtown address in the page footer; a visit there needs a separate transport and venue-hours check.
